Loewinsohn Flegle Deary files patent infringement suit against Tellme, AT&T and Verizon
WavPort, LLC has retained Loewinsohn Flegle Deary L.L.P. to pursue claims of infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,853,714, entitled "Apparatus and Method for Providing Enhanced Telecommunications Services." The '714 Patent claims, among other things, a method for providing enhanced telecommunications services by way of an enhanced services platform that has a voice activated interface that enables subscribers to access the enhanced telecommunications services to subscribers.
On May 10, 2007, suit was filed in the Eastern District of Texas. Infringement claims are pending against Tellme Networks, Inc., AT&T Mobility LLC, and Verizon Services Corporation. The action is pending before United States District Judge David Folsom in Texarkana.
