    Jury verdict and judgment for patent holder in patent validity, enforceability, and infringement case. The patent involved cholesteric liquid crystal displays.     Represented W. Ralph Canada, Jr. in dispute involving claims of breach of employment agreement and recovery of unpaid commissions. Arbitration award for Canada. Award in excess of $6.2 million.     Settlement of claims brought in international arbitration proceeding on behalf of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts resulting in repayment of approximately $3 million in loans to Rosewood Hotels, owner of resort hotel in the Caribbean. No. 3 02CV0213-P; RHR Offshore, L.P. v. Canouan Resorts Development, Ltd. and Carenage Bay Holding, Ltd.

  • Telecommunications

    Represented plaintiff telecommunications company in dispute involving claims for breach of duty and good faith and fair dealing. Settled prior to trial with $9.5 million payment to plaintiff. No. A475601; Start Investments, Inc. v. Telecommunications of Nevada, LLC and XO Communications, Inc., Superior Court of Clark County, Nevada.

  • Class Actions

    $81.6 Million Dollar Class Action settlement for in excess of 1000 claimants alleging they were the victim of fraudulent tax shelters. Thomas Denney, et al v. Jenkens & Gilchrist, et al, No. 03-CV-5460, United States District Court, Southern District.
